Yemi Alade Survives Car Accident with Minor Injuries

By Daniel Edu

Renowned Nigerian Afropop artist, Yemi Alade, recently emerged unscathed from a distressing car accident that took place in Spain. The singer of the hit song ‘Johnny’ shared this news through a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

Yemi Alade disclosed that the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday of the previous week. Expressing her gratitude to a higher power for her safety, she revealed that she sustained only minor injuries. In her own words, she lost just a fingernail in the accident.

In addition to the car accident, Yemi Alade also revealed that she faced a minor health concern due to exhaustion. This exhaustion stemmed from her energetic performance on stage for a staggering seven hours on the very day of the accident.

In her Instagram post, she narrated, “On the 17th of August, we were in a car crash, somewhere between Barcelona and Benicassim in Spain at 12:06 (noon). Also experienced a minor medical emergency from exhaustion after performing on stage 7 hours after the incident on the same day and somehow, I ended up at the ‘after party’ (leave me o. my mind needed positive vibrations).”

The artist emphasized her appreciation for life’s preciousness, noting that she initially hesitated to share the news publicly but decided to do so despite her reservations. She also conveyed her unwavering faith in the power of divine intervention and grace. In her words, “Life is for the living… I didn’t want to put this out, but the devil had other plans, but my Jehovah jiray said NO! THE blood of Jesus spoke for us. I only lost a nail, it all happened suddenly. Nothing is too sudden or complicated for God. His Grace is more than sufficient.”

Yemi Alade’s ability to emerge from the car accident with minimal harm and her optimistic perspective on life serve as a testament to her strength and resilience during trying times.
