“You never rejected me,” says Davido’s late aide’s son in a heartfelt birthday message

Abdul Uthman, the son of the late Obama DMW, Davido’s former aide, expressed his gratitude towards the singer for his support after his father’s passing. On Tuesday, as Davido celebrated his birthday, Uthman took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note.

In the post, Uthman conveyed his appreciation to Davido for keeping a promise to help him after the loss of his father. He acknowledged Davido’s unwavering support, stating, “You never rejected me. You loved me just the way a father should love his child.”

Uthman shared a poignant moment when he felt broken, and Davido not only resolved his issue but also offered comforting words. He quoted Davido saying, “My son, I hope you’re really good,” emphasizing the genuine and caring nature of those words.

The late Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, passed away on June 29, 2021.
