2023: I am still consulting to join Gubernatorial race, says Ebonyi Business Mogul

Dr Ifeanyi-chukwuma Odii, a Business Mogul, says he is still consulting to join the gubernatorial race in Ebonyi, come 2023 general election.

Odii, popularly known as “Anyichuks” made the ascertion in his hometown, Isu, Onicha Local Government Area of the state when Ebonyi Women League (EBWOL) paid him a solidarity visit.

The women drown from the 13 local government area of the state were with placards with inspections, “Anyichuks is our Governor come 2023, the Women Group needs you, we need a leader like you” amongst others.

The Business Mogul is the President and a Cofounder of Ebele and AnyiChuks Foundation, which is a Non-Governmental Organisation.

He commended the women group on their call on him to declare interest for the gubernatorial race and promised to reply back to them after his consultation with the leaders and stakeholders in the state.

“I have heard your calls and I believe the voice of man is the voice of God. I really appreciate and I say, thank you for believing in me. I must tell you that I will invite you to tell you about my stand on either to join the governorship race.

“First, I am going to consult with the leaders of the state, the stakeholders. I will consult with the market women, the youth, the disabilities and the abilities. After it, I will make my position known to you,” he stated.

Odii said while responding to question from journalists, that his major focus for Ebonyi people would be on human capital development if emerges as Governor.

On whether he has any political party in mind, he said that he was yet to join with one until after his consultation.

“If i eventually, come on board, my main focus will be on giving back to the humanity. I represent remove stress and pains from human beings. And that’s why, when I move, people moves with me.

“Of course, you know we do shelter given to people, succour upliftment, support to families, schools and so many. You can count how many houses we built and donate to the indigents. So, i stand for human capital development,” Odii stated.

Earlier, Mrs Ogonnaya Ogudu, President of EBWOL, said that their visit was to beg Anyichuks to declare interest for gubernatorial race in the state ahead of the 2023 general elections.

They described him as “change agent” in Ebonyi and expressed confidence that he would use his wide experiences to drive more transformation for the people.

“He has projected himself as people’s leader, who has the interests of the masses at heart.

“We know Ebonyi will witness tremendous socio-economic transformation which will positively impact on the welfare and well-being of the people if Anyichuks emerges the Governor of the state in 2023.

“We want him to be our Governor in order to transform our people,” she added
