Women To Provide Greater Votes Than Male Counterparts – Professor Aisha

Professor Aisha Madawaki Isah made the declaration while speaking on the role of women in poli9 come 2023 general elections.

The Professor who was speaking during the townhall meeting for Gada stakeholders meeting at the new PDP office along Kano road, Sokoto challenged their male counterparts to give equal votes as women.

Aisha who is the serving Commissioner for Higher Education said as the deputy Director General representing women all significant machineries have been put in place for for the to actively participate in the forth coming general elections.

She opinionated that women are more in number and therefore will give greater votes than their male counterparts and that in their campaign strategies they have synergised to conduct house to house campaigns in order to mobilise more women into the PDP party. a

In their separate remarks, the Director General State Campaign Committee Council Yusuf Sulaiman, Party Chairman Bello Aliyu Goronyo, Governorship running mate Sagir Attahiru Bafarawa promised to beat APC and set a new leadership under Atiku Abubakar.

At state level, they said all political offices from Councillors to governor would be run by PDP come 2023.
