Plateau – Rep Beni Lar Wins Langtang North/ South Federal Seat

Federal lawmaker representing Langtang North/ Langtang South in the House of representatives Hon Beni Lar, has won the rep seat for the fifth time .

Beni Lar candidate of the PDP scored 14,899 votes while her closest opponent Hon Vincent Venmak scored 8,871, and was declared the winner.

Beni Lar also defeated Mr Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Sports during President Buhari’s first tenure, who contested the election on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

Beni is a lawyer and daughter of Chief Solomon Lar, the first civilian governor of old Plateau State and founding National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
