Special guest speaker, Hasseina Akila said that to close the gender Gap in the digital technology in Nigeria, there is need to take the advocacy to primary, secondary schools and the home front to get more girls interested in science and digital technology.
Akila decried the widening Gap between men and women in the digital world and called for collaboration between MAWOJ and educational institutions with the needs advocacy to ginger younger girls to digital technology.

While taking journalists through a paper presentation on “Women in Cyber Security”‘, Okoi emphasized the need for women and girls to flood ICT by making use of the new digital technology opportunity waiting to be harnessed.
