“Mark Angel’s Surprising Revelation: A Secret Marriage and Divorce”

By Sarah Akilah

Mark Angel, the well-known Nigerian skit maker and content creator, recently revealed a shocking secret about his marital life during a podcast with Teju Babyface. Mark Angel, who rose to fame in late 2013, disclosed that he had married in secret and also divorced secretly. This revelation marked the first time he publicly discussed his personal life, although he didn’t specify when these events occurred.

The 32-year-old entertainer emphasized that, considering his current romantic life, he wouldn’t want his daughter to date someone like himself. Mark Angel revealed during the podcast that he was in an uncommitted relationship with about five different women, saying, “I was once married. I have never said this on any podcast, anywhere. I got married in secret and was divorced in secret. I don’t know if I’m dating now or not. But I’ve like five different babes. If I were my daughter, I wouldn’t date someone like myself.”

Earlier, Mark Angel shared his journey in comedy and how he almost gave up due to challenges and discouragement from friends. He stated that despite gaining fame in 2015, he didn’t achieve a financial breakthrough until the following year. Despite the discouragement, his strong vision and belief kept him going.

Apostle Suleman’s Call to Reconsider Marriage Vows

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, expressed concern about a popular phrase in Christian marriage vows commonly heard at Nigerian wedding ceremonies. He questioned the origins of the phrase “For better for worse” and its prevalence in weddings. The cleric suggested changing the phrase to “in all conditions of life” instead of introducing negativity into a new marriage. While there are no specific marriage vows in the Bible, many couples incorporate such vows into their Christian wedding ceremonies, and the phrase in question has been a topic of discussion among modern Christians.
