Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran actor Mr Ibu, has responded to reports of her arrest over an alleged N55 million scam. She was arrested along with Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel Onyeabuchi, accused of defrauding the actor. Jasmine sarcastically commented on a blog post, claiming the figures were incorrect and that she had actually stolen 1 billion. The charges involve manipulation of Mr Ibu’s wife, hacking into bank details, and plans for a sham marriage and escape to the UK. The duo is reportedly in custody, awaiting court charges. Last year, leaked audio circulated, alleging Mr Ibu’s involvement with Jasmine.
