“I’m about to drink sniper” – Kemi Olunloyo shares cryptic post, hints at committing suicide

Kemi Olunloyo, the controversial investigative journalist, has alarmed social media users with a cryptic post hinting at suicide.

In a heartfelt message shared on her verified Facebook page, the 59-year-old journalist disclosed her contemplation of ending her life, citing intense bullying as the catalyst.

Olunloyo expressed profound distress over the relentless bullying she faced following an inaccurate prediction she made about Nigeria’s AFCON semi-finals match against South Africa.

Clarifying that her prediction was not a prophecy but a mere observation, she revealed her intention to ingest a toxic substance, Sniper, as a result of the overwhelming bullying she endured, which she linked to her football match prediction.

In a poignant plea, she lamented the decade-long career sabotage she experienced due to bullying, emphasizing her decision to end her life.

The post evoked mixed reactions from netizens, with some expressing sympathy and others questioning the sincerity of her distress.

While some users expressed condolences and regret over her decision, others criticized her, citing past behaviors and suggesting skepticism regarding her intentions.

The concerning post has sparked widespread concern and calls for intervention to ensure Olunloyo’s well-being amid the distressing revelation.
