Tottenham Hotspur secured a 4-3 victory against Team K-League at the Seoul World Cup Stadium during their South Korea pre-season tour. Following a 3-2 win over Vissel Kobe in Japan, Spurs continued their winning streak in Asia.
The game showcased new Tottenham signing Yang Min-Hyeok, who played for Team K-League, giving Spurs fans a sneak peek of his skills ahead of his official arrival in January. Radu Dragusin, fresh from Euro 2024, joined the Spurs squad, strengthening the backline with Archie Gray covering in defense due to summer transfers and injuries.
Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring after a goalkeeping error, followed by a trademark curling shot from Son Heung-min, doubling the lead. Son then netted another goal, making it 3-0 by halftime. Team K-League’s Iljutcenko pulled one back shortly after the break and scored again moments later to bring the score to 3-2.
Will Lankshear added a fourth for Spurs, but Oberdan’s late volley ensured a tense finish. Despite Team K-League’s efforts, Tottenham held on for the win. Spurs will next face Bayern Munich at the same venue on Saturday.
