I Don’t Run from a Fight, Wike Responds to PDP Exit Rumors

Must read

Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has firmly declared his commitment to stand and fight for his principles amid ongoing internal conflicts within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The former governor of Rivers State made this declaration during a media briefing on Wednesday, marking his first year as the FCT minister.

Wike’s statement comes on the heels of a call from Chief Edwin Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information and prominent South-South leader, urging the PDP’s National Chairman, Ambassador Iliya Damagun, to expel Wike from the party to prevent further damage.

Despite growing speculation that Wike might leave the PDP due to these internal disputes, the minister asserted that he would remain in the party and continue to fight for what he believes in.
