“Wack, no talent, frogido” – Wizkid bashes Davido

Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has reignited his long-standing rivalry with fellow singer Davido, stirring tension among fans after Davido announced the release of his upcoming single.

The controversy began when Davido teased his followers on Nigeria’s Independence Day with a tweet: “First single of the year loading 👀. Happy Independence Day 🇳🇬.”

In response, Wizkid took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize Davido’s upcoming track, writing, “Pussy boys dropping mids again! ❤️🦅,” sparking online buzz.

The situation escalated when Tycoone, a close associate of Davido, responded with a tweet aimed at Wizkid, seemingly mocking the delay of Wizkid’s much-anticipated album: “Tell your daddy to drop na 😂.”

Wizkid didn’t hold back, unleashing a series of fiery tweets. While downplaying any serious feud, he labeled Davido as “wack” and “untalented.” He also mocked Davido’s music, saying, “I don’t beef wack niggas. We all know he’s wack, no talent. 80 trash, we got 80 songs for any album you all drop. Una don tire? Make una go rest.”

Wizkid’s comments have sparked a social media frenzy, with fans taking sides in the ongoing rivalry. While some are entertained by the renewed conflict, others are calling for peace between the two Afrobeats icons.
