Kaduna: Caleb Danladi Foundation Commended for Boosting Welfare of the Less Privileged

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

In a remarkable act of compassion and generosity, the Caleb Danladi Foundation held its end-of-year celebration and medical outreach in Jaba Local Government Area (LGA), Kaduna State. The event drew widespread commendation from Christian leaders, Muslim communities, youth groups, and traditional rulers for its impactful efforts to uplift the less privileged.

The gathering brought together widows, orphans, retired clergy, and vulnerable groups in the Ham land, showcasing the Foundation’s steadfast dedication to improving lives.

### **Unity in Gratitude**
The Anglican Bishop of Kwoi Diocese, Bishop Paul Zamani, praised Capt. Caleb Danladi, the Founder of the Caleb Danladi Foundation, for his unwavering service to humanity.

“Capt. Danladi’s selfless contributions reflect his deep love for God and humanity,” Bishop Zamani stated.

The Secretary of ECWA Kwoi DCC echoed similar sentiments, lauding the Foundation’s initiatives, which he said aligned with broader efforts, including recent interventions by Nigeria’s First Lady to support the underprivileged in Kaduna State.

The Chief Imam of Kwoi Central Mosque described Capt. Danladi’s philanthropic efforts as “transformative and life-changing,” emphasizing the importance of remembering the less fortunate.

Retired clergy, represented by Rev. Nathaniel, shared heartfelt testimonies of how Capt. Danladi has consistently supported their welfare, ensuring that retired ministers and their families are not left behind.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances by Kwoi traditional dancers and participation from groups such as Daddu Orphanage, Kwoi Child Initiative, and Samban Widows Association. Widows and retired clergy from Kwoi, Kagoma, and Kumin Musa DCCs were also present, highlighting the wide-reaching impact of the Foundation’s initiatives.

As part of the celebration, the Foundation distributed food items, wrappers, cooking oil, and other essentials to widows, orphans, and retired clergy. Additionally, over 1,000 individuals benefited from free medical consultations, treatments, and health advice during the outreach, conducted in partnership with Dr. Jolly Jatau Byanet, Founder of Wyet Num Unity Sanctuary Hospital, and his medical team.

During the event, Capt. Danladi unveiled plans to establish a skills training center to empower widows with vocational skills and income-generating opportunities. He also announced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiatives aimed at equipping youth with essential skills for a technology-driven world.

To improve healthcare access, Capt. Danladi pledged to enroll more women and vulnerable groups in the Kaduna State Contributory Health Insurance Scheme, stating, “Our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind, especially in accessing basic healthcare.”

The event was graced by dignitaries, including religious leaders, traditional rulers, representatives of the Pillars of Hope Foundation, and other well-wishers from the Ham community and beyond. Their presence underscored the collective appreciation for the Foundation’s transformative initiatives.

In his closing remarks, Capt. Danladi expressed gratitude to all attendees and partners, saying, “Your support inspires us to do more. Together, we can build a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”

The Caleb Danladi Foundation’s end-of-year celebration and medical outreach serve as a testament to the power of focused and compassionate initiatives in transforming lives, fostering unity, and strengthening communities.
