The Executive Chairman of Langtang North LGA, Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem, yesterday led a delegation of PDP stakeholders from Langtang North and South on a condolence visit to the family of the late Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni (rtd.).
Hon. Tyem, who also represented the Chairman of Langtang South LGA during the visit, described the late General as a pillar of peace and stability in Nigeria. He fondly referred to him as Baba Mai Tuwo, emphasizing his deep connection with the people.
A statement signed by Passmore Danladi, Head of Media to the Executive Chairman of Langtang North, and made available to journalists in Jos, highlighted the significance of the visit.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Joshua Ubandoma, Plateau State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, prayed for divine strength for the bereaved family, urging them to take solace in the impactful life Gen. Useni lived.
In response, Prof. D.D. Sheni, speaking on behalf of the Tarok Elders Forum, expressed gratitude to the delegation for their support. He prayed for journey mercies for all those returning from the visit.
The delegation offered prayers and heartfelt sympathies, recognizing the late General’s immense contributions to the nation and the Tarok people.
