Shehu Sani Mocks El-Rufai, Calls Him Jobless and Frustrated

By  Milcah  Tanimu

Senator Shehu Sani has criticized former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, calling him a “midget professor” who is jobless and frustrated after being sidelined by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Sani’s remarks came in response to El-Rufai’s criticism of the APC-led government, where he accused Tinubu’s administration of undermining opposition parties.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sani labeled El-Rufai as hypocritical, stating:

“Out of power, he is sanctimoniously preaching democracy to the country he helped wreck, plundered, and persecuted.”

He also mocked El-Rufai’s claim that Nigeria is led by illiterates, saying:

“The government is led by illiterates because they refused to hire Professor Midget.”

Sani further accused the ex-governor of seeking relevance by stoking sectional sentiments at northern public events.

El-Rufai made his comments at a national conference in Abuja focused on strengthening Nigeria’s democracy, where he called the country’s leadership a “national emergency.”
