By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya has assumed the role of the new Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

“When we perform, the whole country will feel the impact, and when we do not perform, Nigerians will not feel the impact.”.

The outgoing Permanent Secretary, Dr. Yakubu Adam Kofarmata, assured his incoming colleague that the ministry is made up of capable hands who have vast experience and expertise in administration, humanitarian affairs, social development, nutrition, poverty reduction, and other areas.

He called on the management and staff of the ministry to extend the same cooperation and support he enjoyed to the new permanent secretary to move the ministry forward.

Director Human Resource Management Onyia-Desy Chinyere Hilda, expressed appreciation to the outgoing Permanent Secretary for his popen-door policy and contributions towards uplifting the plight of vulnerable Nigerians.

She pledged the support and cooperation of the management and staff of the ministry to the new permanent secretary to achieve the mandate of the ministry.
