The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) has announced plans to hold its Annual General Conference, with delegates expected from all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The National President of the organisation, Comrade Debo Adeniran, disclosed this in a statement issued to journalists. He said the conference would bring together representatives from across the country to deliberate on key human rights issues and the direction of the organisation.
According to the statement, the conference will take place at Madison Palace Hotel along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Comrade Adeniran assured that all necessary arrangements had been concluded to ensure a smooth and successful conference. He added that delegates were expected to arrive early to allow proceedings commence as scheduled.
The CDHR said the annual conference remains a key platform for strengthening internal democracy, reviewing activities and reaffirming its commitment to the promotion and protection of human rights across Nigeria.
