Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved the constitution of boards for the Rural Access Roads Agency (RARA), the State Roads Fund (SRF), and the Abia State Lottery Board.The approvals were announced in a statement issued by the state government, naming members appointed to oversee operations of the three agencies.
For the Rural Access Roads Agency, Engr. Alex O. Ezumah was appointed Chairman, with Engr. Amarachi Monday Kalu as Director-General. Other members are Mr. Uka Nwankwo Uka, Engr. Godswill Ubani, and Engr. Kelechi Nwuka.The State Roads Fund board will be chaired by Engr. Onwukwe Ifeanyi, with Mr. Onyekachi Ernest Aguocha serving as Director-General. Other members include Mr. Godwin Chinedum Onwuka, Mr. Chyka Ibeku, and Dr. Florence Chidinma Nwogu.
For the Abia State Lottery Board, Owobe Ikechukwu Chikezie was appointed Chairman, while Ikechukwu Ndubuisi Ngwu will serve as Managing Director. Other members are Munachiso Eze Nwosuegbe, Esq., Mr. Emeka Chionye, and Mrs. Chibuzo Ehiemere.Governor Otti charged the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and dedication to public service, in line with his administration’s commitment to accountable governance and sustainable development in Abia State.
