Gov. Ododo Hails APC Members Over Successful Ward, LGA Congresses in Kogi

Kogi State Governor, , has congratulated members of the (APC) across the 239 wards and 21 local government areas of the state on the successful conduct of the party’s Ward and Local Government Congresses.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, the governor described the peaceful, transparent and widely accepted outcome of the congresses as a demonstration of unity, political maturity and a strong internal democratic culture within the APC in Kogi State.

He noted that the adoption of a consensus approach in most areas reflected the collective commitment of party members to harmony, inclusiveness and prioritising the party’s interest above individual ambitions.

“I am particularly proud of the discipline, cooperation and sense of responsibility displayed by our members throughout the exercise. The calm and orderly atmosphere recorded across the state is a testament to the strength of our structure and the deep-rooted belief of our people in the ideals of our party,” Ododo stated.

The governor also said the bold reforms and unwavering commitment of to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth continue to inspire confidence and strengthen the resolve of party faithful.

He commended the National Working Committee (NWC) and State Working Committee (SWC) of the party for the seamless coordination and supervision of the congresses, noting that their insistence on due process and adherence to the party’s constitution reaffirms the APC’s position as a leading political party in Africa.

Ododo congratulated those who emerged as ward and local government executives for the next four years and urged them to deepen grassroots mobilisation, strengthen party unity and uphold the ideology and principles of the party.

“As we look to the future, I assure Mr President that Kogi State remains solidly behind him. The support he has consistently extended to our state will undoubtedly be reciprocated with overwhelming support in the 2027 general elections,” he added.

He reaffirmed that the APC in Kogi State remains united, focused and prepared for future political engagements, pledging to consolidate gains, expand the party’s reach and sustain its dominance in the state.
