Father’s Day: Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade reveals shocking details about her father’s death

In a bid to acknowledge and celebrate her dad on father’s day, veteran actress, Omotola Jalade took to her official Instagram page to share narrate the death of her father.

According to the 42 year old, her father died in a ghastly motor accident when she was 12 years old. She disclosed that her late dad made a huge impact in her life that will last a lifetime.

Sharing a picture of her dad, The mother of four wrote;

“I love you dad. Sir Shola jalade..1949 – 1990
I was 12 when i lost my dad to a ghastly accident on the Benin-Ore expressway. This is the Singular Biggest determinant factor in my life. In our few years together, he had made such an impact On my life for a lifetime. A Great Father’s impact is Forever. Mydaddysgirl #happyfathersday.. P.s … don’t write R..”

Omotola, who is of Ondo descent, was born in Lagos State. She grew up in a family of five (her parents and two younger brothers, Tayo and Bolaji Jalade). Her mother, Oluwatoyin Jalade née Amori Oguntade, worked at J.T Chanrai Nigeria, and her father, Oluwashola Jalade, worked at the YMCA and the Lagos Country Club.
