The immediate past chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council, Hon. Ado Tambai Kwa, has commended Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for allocating the largest share of the state budget to the education sector.
In an interactive session with our correspondent, Ado Tambai Kwa described the allocation as a welcome development, expressing optimism that it would revitalize education across Kano State.
“It is encouraging to see such a significant budget allocation to the education sector, especially at a time when global advancement is heavily focused on technology. I am confident that education stakeholders will use this budget effectively to enhance learning in our schools,” he remarked.
Tambai also emphasized his commitment to supporting Governor Yusuf in transforming Kano’s education sector into an exemplary model. He urged the people of Kano State to support the administration’s efforts to improve education.
In closing, the former council chairman thanked the Kano State House of Assembly, led by Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, for fostering collaboration between the legislative and executive branches, enabling the swift passage of bills proposed by the executive.
