AY reacts as DSTV moves NTA to channel 419

Popular comedian, AY has reacted to DSTV moving the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, from channel 254 to 419.

Taking to Twitter, the comedian wondered if the recent reshuffle is coincident or deliberate.

“Good morning folks. So some have noticed the recent reshuffle on the DSTV bouquet. Our very own National and official TV station, NTA is now on channel 419. Was this deliberate or what? Is someone trying to send a message or plain coincidence?”, he tweeted.

419 is a code used by many Nigerians to label for fraudsters.

“Why should they use 419 of all numbers? NTA is the largest television network in Africa, so they ought to be careful”, a fan responded.

“I don’t think there’s a problem with that. The TV station is in its right position. No station dey help am drag am”, another wrote.
