Benue Internal Revenue Service to Enhance Revenue Generation

Acting Chairman, Benue Internal Revenue Service, BIRS, Mr Emmanuel Agema has said efforts are being stepped up to enhance revenue generation of the state.

He stated this when the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Ibrahim Abubakar visited him at the headquarters of the revenue house in Makurdi.

Mr Agema promised to cooperate with the Federal Road Safety commission in its desire to generate revenue for the state.

He reiterated his resolve to support the commission in the state, even as he promised to revive the meeting of BIRS-FRSC and the vehicle inspection office.

In his remarks, the Sector Commander pointed out that he was at the office to seek ways of strengthening relationship with the service in the area of traffic management and pledged the support of FRSC on task administration in the state.

The Sector Commander congratulated the Acting Chairman on his appointment to head the revenue office in the state.
