BREAKING: FEC meeting opens in Abuja

The President Muhammadu Buhari and members of his cabinet have started the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

The FEC meeting holds every Wednesday.

Today’s session opened at 11.06 am after Buhari arrived at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

After the national anthem, opening prayers were said by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo; and the Minister of Power, Saleh Maman.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, are attending the meeting.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, and the Head of Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, are also attending the meeting.
