Breaking: Godwin Emefiele Taken Away by DSS from Court Premises

In a dramatic turn of events at the Federal High Court in Lagos, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, was swiftly taken away by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Earlier, tension escalated as both the DSS operatives and officials from the Nigeria Correctional Service engaged in a tussle over who would have custody of the defendant.

The courtroom entrance witnessed a stand-off, with two Hilux vehicles representing each government agency stationed nearby.

Further information on the matter will be provided as it unfolds.
