Chelsea secured a 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers on December 19, 2024, in a thrilling UEFA Conference League clash. The match was briefly halted after Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku was targeted with toilet rolls while taking a corner kick.

Marc Guiu was the star of the game, netting a first-half hat-trick, taking his tally to six goals in the competition. Chelsea’s other goals came from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Marc Cucurella, further sealing their dominance.

With this win, Chelsea continues their perfect record in the league phase, advancing to the Round of 16.
