Chelsea Scouting Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface for Potential Transfer

By   Milcah   Tanimu

Chelsea have been keeping a close eye on Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen. the former Premier League champions have sent scouts to monitor the Nigerian forward, indicating strong interest in signing him.

Boniface joined Bayer Leverkusen last season from Belgian club Royale Union SG, where he made an immediate impact. The 23-year-old scored 21 goals and provided ten assists in 39 appearances, helping Leverkusen secure the Bundesliga title and win the German Cup.

This season, Boniface has maintained his impressive form, netting four goals and one assist in just six matches. His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, but Chelsea appears to be leading the chase.

The Blues have recently focused on signing young talents from around the globe, and Boniface fits their profile. Currently valued at €40 million by Transfermarkt, his price could rise significantly with continued strong performances.

Despite Chelsea’s interest, prying Boniface away from Leverkusen might be challenging. The Nigerian striker still has four years remaining on his contract, and the German club will likely demand a high fee for any potential transfer.

Boniface’s ability to deliver on big occasions has made him one of the most sought-after young strikers in Europe. If Chelsea decides to move forward with their pursuit, they will have to act swiftly and decisively to secure his services.

The ongoing speculation surrounding Boniface’s future highlights his rapid rise in European football and his potential to become a top striker in one of the world’s most competitive leagues.
