In a heartwarming video that went viral on Friday, October 13, 2023, we witnessed a joyous moment as Davido and his wife, Chioma, lovingly cradled their newborn twins outside the hospital. This video came as a delightful surprise, as there had been speculations throughout the week about the couple welcoming twins, which remained unconfirmed until now.
Davido, however, did not take kindly to the video being shared on Samklef’s page. He lashed out, accusing him of seeking attention and called him a “clout chaser.” In his angry response, Davido exclaimed, “Wtf, you know you’re not supposed to post this; you f***king clout chaser. You are wicked, delete this.”
After a private conversation with Davido, Samklef clarified that he found the video in the public domain on Twitter, just like anyone else, and reposted it. He updated his followers, stating, “Me and Davido are cool. Initially, Davido thought I had leaked the video after our DM conversation, but I made it clear that I obtained the video from a public source on Twitter. Wishing blessings upon your home and family.”
Consequently, Davido deleted his comments from Samklef’s post.
This joyful moment for Davido and his family carries significant meaning, especially in light of the tragic loss of their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, in 2022 due to a drowning incident in their home. The news of the twins’ birth has spread happiness not only among their fans but also among Nigerians at home and abroad. Throughout the week, messages of congratulations have poured in for the delighted couple, now that the news is confirmed.
