A group has forewarned against the utilization of media preliminary by the Nigeria Police in the continuous investigation of the executing of three official by certain warriors along Ibi-Wukari street in Taraba state.
The Good Governance and Leadership Project in Nigeria (GGLPN) affirmed that the Nigeria Police has left on media with the thought process of impacting the result of the reports of the investigative board on the issue.
The GGLPN said the Police kept on with its invasion against the Army and even made an unbalanced stride by releasing the advancement being made in the examination to the media.
In an announcement marked by GGLPN’s leader, Whyte Odili, the group said such media preliminary can just truncate the activity such that the possible guilty parties may dodge equity.
Odili asked the law enforcement agency to stop its progressing media preliminary and crusade of defamation against the Army and rather permit the law to follow through to its logical end.
He additionally cautioned the Police that any endeavor to impact the result of the investigative board would be met with stern obstruction.
Odili noticed the mediations made by explicit people and associations that sued for a truce to the media war that emitted between the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Army.
GGLPN avoided joining these requires a truce around then since we accept that the point has been made by every one of those that had mediated.
