Kidnapped 90yrs old woman regains freedom in Bayelsa

A 90 years old woman mother Cargo Dressman Adamawa who was kidnapped three weeks ago at her country home in Ogobiri community in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State, has Regained her freedom.

She was freed in the early hours on Sunday October 4,2021, by a joint efforts of security operatives who took a raid on the kidnappers den to rescue her and two others.

According to her, she was moved immediately from her home at midnight to unknown destination in the riverine area by her abductors.

A family source who claimed anonymity said” Our mother has joined us back Hale and hearty and we are happy, and thank the security agents the state government for securing the release our mother.

Earlier, the kidnappers had demanded undisclosed sum of money running into millions in order to secure her release.

When contacted, the Spokesperson of the Bayelsa State Police command, SP. Asinim Butswat said he is yet to be brief on the release of the Octogenarian.
