LAFC-Houston Dynamo Match Postponed Due to Tropical Storm Beryl

Sunday’s match between Los Angeles FC and the Houston Dynamo FC was postponed due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Beryl.

No new date has been announced for the rescheduled match.

Originally set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. local time, the match was moved up by two hours in anticipation of the storms. However, this adjustment proved insufficient as severe weather, including lightning, swept through the Houston area. The match started in a weather delay, and fans were advised to seek shelter in their vehicles or on the stadium’s concourse.

LAFC (13-4-4, 43 points) came into the day tied for first place in the Western Conference with Real Salt Lake, with one match in hand. They are currently on a 10-match unbeaten streak (9-0-1). Houston (8-7-6, 30 points) sits in eighth place in the Western Conference.
