The All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, have emerged victorious in the 2024 Ondo State governorship election, securing wins in all 18 local government areas with a commanding margin over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ajayi Agboola.

The results were announced at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Akure, the state capital, under the supervision of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola. The election, held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, marked a decisive victory for the ruling APC.
