Manchester United Edge Viktoria Plzeň 2-1 in Europa League Clash

In a gripping UEFA Europa League encounter, Manchester United secured a 2-1 victory against Viktoria Plzeň at the Doosan Arena on December 12, 2024. Rasmus Højlund emerged as the match hero, netting two decisive goals in the 62nd and 88th minutes.

Despite an early challenge from the hosts, United’s dominance, led by manager Ruben Amorim, ensured a vital win in their European campaign. The victory strengthens their position in the league phase, with standout performances from key players, including Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martínez.
