Mohammed Kudus Spotted at Emirates Amid Arsenal Exit Rumors

By   Milcah   Tanimu

West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus was seen at the Emirates Stadium during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. The Gunners secured the win with goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka, maintaining their strong form.

Kudus’s appearance at the match has sparked speculation about his future, especially after recent tensions with West Ham coach Julien Lopetegui. Reports indicate that Kudus and Lopetegui had a confrontation during halftime of West Ham’s recent 1-1 draw against Brentford, where Kudus felt singled out for criticism.

Despite the controversy, Kudus expressed his appreciation for the strong Ghanaian community in London, stating, “I didn’t know how big [the Ghanaian community] was until I got there, but it’s good to know there are a lot of my people around.” This statement may suggest that his visit to the Emirates was more about enjoying the atmosphere rather than signaling an impending transfer.

Arsenal had previously shown interest in the midfielder before he joined West Ham for £38.5 million last summer. With a release clause becoming active in July 2025, Kudus’s situation at West Ham could lead to a potential exit if circumstances do not improve.

As for Arsenal, they have kept their second clean sheet in the Champions League and currently sit four points ahead of their next match against Shakhtar Donetsk in October. The ongoing situation with Kudus adds another layer of intrigue to both his career and the West Ham team, which remains winless in its last five matches.
