‘My heart bleeds’ – Simi’s husband , Adekunle Gold cries out sorrowfully

Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has reacted to the unfortunate incident that cost the life of two Nigerian girls, Uwa and Tina. According to the 33 year old, his heart bleeds because the two girls lives was cut short because of the kind of men raised in this generation.

Adekunle Gold added that he is not waiting for the government to do anything about the death of the young girls because if he waits, he would end up getting disappointed.

Read all he said below;

“My heart bleeds.
Uwa and Tina’s lives have been cut short because we’ve raised and enabled a generation of men who believe women should be exploited not protected.
We’ve enabled powerdrunk senseless men with uniforms and weapons.
We are not allowed to sit down there and say “not all men” fuck that! All men are responsible. Your brother’s heart is desperately wicked and you have enabled it, wether in catcalling or in objectification. We have enabled it. Not waiting on the government to do anything, don’t want to set myself up for further disappointment.
I pray we raise better sons and enable better men.”

Recall that in less than 48 hours, the news about the death of Tina and Uwa came as a rude shock to Nigerians on social media. Tina was reported to have died after a stray bullet hit her on the road in Lagos. Uwa on the other hand was raped and killed brutally inside a church in Benin.
