Veteran actress, Mercy Aigbe has announced her readiness for a peaceful protest to get justice over the death of a 22 year old Microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Uwaila Omozuwa who was raped and killed in a church.

According to the mother of 2, enough is enough on the issue of rape. It is time to demand for justice for those who have fell victim. Mercy said;

“I am up for a peaceful protest! Petition!
So long as our voices are heard and demand for justice is met! I will also encourage us to use our platforms to push for change ….. Ki lo de! O ti su mi! Infact we are tired!!!!!! Enough is Enough! We can really do better as humans! sad just sad* Parents the onus falls on us to instill a lot of values and morals in our kids!!!!!! We are the most important educators our children will ever have hence we must start talking honestly with them at an early age. We should let them know that affirmative consent is a very important prerequisite to any sexual behavior! Our boys must be taught that CONSENT is very important and No means NO!…….This is all so upsetting!
