An advocacy group for peace and Nonviolence in the Niger Delta region, Niger Delta Nonviolence Agitators Forum (NDNAF) ably led by it’s national President and a former national director of Mobilization and Chairman action committee, ijaw youth council (IYC) world wide, Comrade Oniekpar Wisdom Ikuli has frowned at ASARI DOKUBO, described the formation of Biafra Customary Government as self seeking move which has failed already before it was conceived.

The Niger Delta Nonviolence Agitators Forum (NDNAF) through its national spokesman Comrade Amatoru Torubeni Victor made the statement in Warri, Delta State while on tour to oil producing communities in the state reiterated that Asari Dokubo is on his own and should not be taken seriously but should be seen as a Nollywood actor seeking unnecessary attention.

While speaking to Day Break news, he stated that, “As a group, we have long resolved to toe the path of peace and Nonviolence but will always consult and brainstorm with critical stakeholders from our region and intellectually engage the government at all levels to bring the needed development to our region’s oil producing communities, therefore no sane man will take Asari serious over the recent declaration of himself as the new leader of his self acclaimed Biafra Customary Government.

“Asari Dokubo is on his own and no part of the Niger Delta is backing him on this self seeking formation of a Biafra Customary Government.

“Declaring himself of this absurdity is laughable and no right thinking Man from the Niger Delta region will take him serious, likewise the good people from the south east region.

“The claims made by Asari over the Niger Delta territories are lacking in merit and truth, therefore should not be taken seriously but should be seen as a move to seek attention.

“The Niger Delta region was never a part of Biafra and as a people, we demand an apology for the unfounded claims which we seriously considered as a direct insult to our region and people”. he said

Amatoru also urged government at all levels to give no attention to the former militant leader over the formation of the Biafra Customary Government declaring himself as the new leader.
