Nigerian Post publisher wins Journalist of the year award

The publisher of Nigeria Post, Comrade Mike Abuh has bagged icon award from Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance in kogi state.

Presenting the award on Tuesday in Lokoja, kogi state capital, the chairman of the Organisation, Mr. Abiodun Ajinomo said the award was based on the track records of Mr. Mike Abuh who has contributed immensely for the growth of the youth across the state.

He said the recipient has used his medium to champion the cause of youth that has inculcated in them the confidence and reselience to unleash potentials embedded in them to making the society a better place to live in.

“This is in recognition of his contributions to the growth of Journalism practice and overall, Peace and Youth development of the Society.”

In his remark, the Publisher of Nigeria post newspaper, Comrade Mike Abu commended the organisers of the award for selecting him, stressing that he never believed that his modest contribution to the society could get the attention of the society that could earned him an award.

The awardee promise to work harder to improve the lots of the society urging persons with means to consider the good of the society rather than personal consideration.

Amongst those who bagged different awards at the event includes, the Acting Rector kogi state Polytechnic Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo, kogi state Commissioner for Solid Minerals Engineer Bashir Gegu and host of other recipients.
