Obingwa West 2023: Igodoigwe declares ambition, begins consultations

By Okechukwu Keshi Ukegbu

Hon Erondu has declared his ambition to vie for the Obingwa West State Assembly position in the 2023 elections. This is as he begins consultations with major stakeholders in the constituency.

Speaking during the declaration at Mgbokoanya country home of Chairman of Ward 3, Obingwa LGA Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Elder Augustine Nwanoruo, a former Obingwa LG Chairman, Hon. Chidiebere Iheyeremadu (Jato), urged people of the constituency to rally round the ambition of Hon Erondu.

Iheyeremadu, who described the aspirant as a sociable and stable character said that supporting the ambition of Hon Erondu will be of immense benefit to the people of Obingwa West.

In his speech, Hon Erondu said that he chooses to do the declaration at the ward chairman’s country home because ideal declaration tradition in politics demands that declarations for ambitions to vie for a political office begins with the ward chairman.

He said that he came to formally declare in the ward as a stepping stone for further consultations.

Hon Erondu assured the people a quality representation if elected to represent them, adding that he has all it takes to provide a quality representation for the people of Obingwa West.

In her remarks, the woman leader of the ward, Mrs Peace Onyebuchi, assured Him Erondu of their huge support.
