Plateau Lga Election – Margif Warns Lp Members Against Purchasing Forms From Grace Zamfara

The Plateau State Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate In The 2023 Election Chief Amb. Yohana Margif, Has Warned Members Of The Party In The State Against Purchasing Nomination Forms From The Factional Chairman Of The Part In The State, Grace Zamfara, Ahead Of The Upcoming Local Government Elections Slated For October 9th 2024.

Chief Margif, In A Statement Signed On Tuesday And Made Available To Journalist Alleged That “It Has Come To My Attention That Grace Zamfara, Who Is Currently Under Investigation By The Abuja Federal Capital Territory Police Command For Alleged Forgery And Conspiracy, Is Purporting To Sell Forms On Behalf Of The Party To Members Who Intend To Contest Election”.

While Strongly Advising Against Purchasing Forms From Zamfara Or Any Other Individual Claiming To Be A State Official Under Her Faction, Margif Described Her Leadership During Her Previous Tenure One Which Was Marred By Controversy And Difficulties For Many Party Members Who Contested Under The Labour Party In Plateau State.

Margif, Added, That “To Avoid Wasting Resources, Especially During This Challenging Economic Period, We Recommend Obtaining Forms Only From The Legitimate Labour Party State Secretariat, Under The Leadership Of Comrade Solomon Ndam, The Caretaker Chairman Of The Party”.

The Labour Party Chieftain However Appealed To Stakeholders And Members Of The Party On The Plateau To Work Together To Ensure A Smooth And Transparent Local Government Come October 9th.
