Police arrests suspect for kidnapping, killing of female student in Kogi

A 23 – year – old Mr. Jeremiah of Kaduna indigen has been arrested for Kidnapping and killing a 100-level Biology female student of Federal University Lokoja, Damilola.

It was gathered that after killing her, he allegedly removed some organs and her private parts before setting the copse ablaze.

According to source, the suspect by name Jeremiah kidnapped the female student known as Damilola from a nearby gas station in Felele and asked for ransom from her parents.

However, the Kogi State Police operatives on getting the information arrested him in connection with the tragic dead of Damilola.

Reports indicate that the suspect, from Kaduna State, allegedly abducted her around nearby gas station between 8.00pm — 9.00pm that fateful day and took her to an uncompleted building.

After demanding and receiving a ransom of N400,000 from her family, he decided to kill her and removed her vital organs for ritual purposes.

After the tragic incident, the suspect reportedly contacted her family again, demanding an additional N10 million.

However, he was tracked down by police to his location and got arrested.

The suspect confessed to acting alone and led authorities to where he had left her remains, stating that he took her life because she had seen his face after the abduction.
