Rangers’ Cyriel Dessers Confident in Team’s Fitness Compared to PSV

By Milcah  Tanimu

Cyriel Dessers, the Glasgow Rangers’ forward, is expressing confidence in the fitness of the Gers as they strive to secure a place in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. This optimism comes in the wake of a 2-2 draw between Rangers and PSV in their first-leg play-off round at Ibrox,

In the game, the Light Blues managed to take the lead on two occasions through goals from Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo. However, the Dutch side managed to level the score each time, leaving both teams on even footing as they look forward to the second leg scheduled in The Netherlands next week.

Speaking to Rangers following the match, the Nigerian striker highlighted the positives derived from the first-leg encounter. Dessers is optimistic about the team’s chances in the return fixture, emphasizing that everything is up for grabs and drawing parallels to the situation they faced last year, hoping for a similar favorable outcome.
