Senator Lalong Consoles Bereaved Families in Jos

Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District, has paid condolence visits to several families in Jos to console them over the loss of their loved ones.

Among those visited was the family of Chief Maichibi Vwarji, a former Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Talatu Maichibi, who died at the age of 61. Senator Lalong sympathized with Chief Vwarji and encouraged him to take solace in the fact that his wife lived a purposeful and impactful life.

The Senator also visited the family of Miskoom Thomas Kangnaan to offer his condolences over the demise of their daughter, Nanpoe Kangnaan. Nanpoe, a staff member of the Industrial Training Fund in Jos, passed away at the age of 46. Senator Lalong urged the family to accept her untimely death as God’s will, while taking comfort in her contributions to the family and society.

In another visit, Senator Lalong consoled the family of Prof. David Pam Yakubu, who recently lost his wife, Margaret. He described her death as particularly painful, as she fell victim to assailants during a trip. The Senator prayed for her legacy of love and service to be a source of comfort to her family and called on authorities to ensure those responsible for her death are brought to justice.

Additionally, Senator Lalong visited retired Col. Sunday Kaswe to express his sympathies over the passing of his wife. He prayed for her eternal rest and for God to forgive her sins.

In their responses, the bereaved families expressed gratitude to Senator Lalong for his compassion and comforting words, acknowledging him as a caring and empathetic leader. They prayed for God’s guidance and blessings upon him in his endeavors.
