Six Nigerian Female Celebrities Guarding Their Baby Daddy’s Identity

By Daniel Edu

Having a child out of wedlock often comes with societal pressures, and this is especially true for celebrities. To avoid further controversies, some Nigerian female celebrities have chosen to keep the identity of their baby daddy a closely guarded secret. Let’s take a look at six of them:

1. Halima Abubakar: In April 2020, Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar caused a stir online when she announced the birth of her son using a picture of an American nursing mother, which she later admitted was not her baby’s photo. Despite the curiosity surrounding the identity of her baby daddy, Halima has kept this information private.

2. TBoss: Known for her candid personality, former BBNaija star TBoss managed to keep her pregnancy away from the public eye in 2019. Though rumors linked her to various public figures, including Olakunle Churchill, Adams Oshiomhole, Uti Nwachukwu, Dino Melaye, and Ubi Franklin, TBoss has chosen not to disclose the father of her child.

3. Ruth Kadiri: Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri had a private wedding ceremony before welcoming her first baby in 2019 and her second child in 2022. She keeps her marriage and her husband’s identity away from the spotlight.

4. Etinosa Idemudia: The arrival of Etinosa Idemudia’s baby in 2020 generated a lot of buzz, particularly with claims of her practicing celibacy. Despite rumors linking Nigerian singer MC Galaxy to the pregnancy, Etinosa has neither confirmed nor denied this, keeping her baby daddy’s identity under wraps.

5. Queen: Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Queen, surprised fans and celebrities alike with news of her pregnancy in January 2023. Although she shared a maternity photoshoot on her Instagram page after giving birth, Queen has not publicly revealed the identity of her baby daddy.

6. Eniola Ajao: The Yoruba Nollywood actress revealed in 2022 that she has a 20-year-old son but has chosen to remain silent about the identity of her baby daddy.

These celebrities have their reasons for keeping their baby daddies hidden, and they are entitled to their privacy in this aspect of their lives.
