Sokoto PDP Won All The 23 Local Government Polls

Briefing newsmen shortly after announcing the results of the 23 local government’s polls conducted on Saturday 27th of March, the Chairman State Independent Electoral Commission, Alhaji Aliyu Suleiman declared the winners as contained in the Electoral Law.

“By my declaration, the candidates with the highest number of votes as announced and having satisfied the requirements of the law, I hereby declare the winners and returned elected”, averred the Chairman.

During the declaration, the Chairman was in company of his Commissioners, other party representatives and observers among others.

PDP party won all the local council elections of Chairmen and Councillors.
