By   Milcah   Tanimu

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled November 18 as the date for Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Rwanda, set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. This match will close Nigeria’s campaign in Group D, aiming for a spot in the 35th AFCON, which will be hosted in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026.

Ademola Olajire, Director of Communications at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), confirmed the date and time, with the game set to kick off at 5 p.m. Nigeria time. Moroccan match officials, led by referee Samir Guezzaz, will oversee the game, with assistants Zakaria Brinsi and Abdessamad Abertoune, and fourth official Kech Chaf Mustapha.

Additionally, CAF appointed officials from Senegal, with Issa Sy set to referee Nigeria’s earlier qualifier against Benin Republic on November 14 at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
