By  Milcah  Tanimu

In the latest FIFA global rankings, Nigeria’s senior women’s football team, the Super Falcons, have retained their position as 36th in the world. Additionally, the team continues to hold the top spot among women’s football teams in Africa.

Following Nigeria in the African rankings are South Africa (50th), Morocco (59th), Zambia (62nd), and Ghana (66th).

The top 10 women’s football teams globally are:
1. **United States**
2. **England**
3. **Spain**
4. **Germany**
5. **Sweden**
6. **Canada**
7. **Japan**
8. **Brazil**
9. **Korea DPR**
10. **France**
