Tallen calls on women, youths to participate in party Politics

By Joyce Remi-Babayeju

Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dame Pauline Tallen has called on women and the youths to participate in the ongoing All Progressives Congress Party registration.

Tallen said that the exercise which was flagged- off by leader of the party, President Muhammadu Buhari gives members an opportunity to participate in the Party’s National Convention.

She explained that Party registration is key for political participation.

“It is only when we register that we could aspire for elective positions, be they general or for election into party positions.”

Statistics have it that about 51% of our population is made up of both female and youth.  This goes to say that we, women and youth, have the voting power to decide who should be our leader, she emphasized.
