Nigerian singer Waje recently enjoyed a special moment with her daughter, Emerald, at an event, and a video capturing their time together has quickly gone viral. In the clip, the mother-daughter duo is seen swaying to the music and having a great time, drawing widespread admiration from social media users.

Many netizens couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between Waje and her daughter, with some even joking that they looked more like sisters than mother and daughter.

One user, @intimatesbykoko, commented, “The real God when,” while @anyaodeh added, “Beautiful daughter of Waje.” Another user, @olatoyide_0911, said, “Her daughter looks like Cardi B; they are both gorgeous.”

Other comments reflected similar sentiments. @thesandypreneur wrote, “The beauty of having your kids early and taking good care of yourself,” while @sabiigirlfashion praised Waje’s timeless look, writing, “Always looking delectable.”

Waje and her daughter Emerald have a close bond, which the singer frequently showcases. Recently, Waje celebrated Emerald’s successful entry into the healthcare sector, sharing her pride in her daughter’s achievements. Prior to this, Waje had also expressed joy over her daughter’s graduation at the age of 25.

As a single mother, Waje has raised Emerald away from the limelight, with little known about Emerald’s father. However, Waje’s love life has sparked interest, especially her relationship with fellow singer Ric Hassani. Hassani previously stirred controversy with a comment about infidelity, which drew attention due to his relationship with Waje at the time.

Despite past struggles, including publicly expressing frustration over her music not selling, Waje has bounced back. She is now thriving in her career, currently serving as a judge on a long-running talent show, proving that both her personal and professional life are flourishing.
