Wike okays N70,000 Minimum Wage for FCTA Staffers

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA,Minister , Barr. Nyesom Wike on Monday approved the immediate payment of Seventy Thousand Naira N70,000 New National Minimum Wage for staffers of the Administration.

Ag. Head of Civil Service of FCT, Mrs. Grace Adayilo in a statement signed by Ewhenji Anthony Odey, Press Secretary to HoS, FCT, on Monday, made available to journalists, disclosed that the Minister also granted approval for payment of 3 months arrears for all staff of the Administration with effect from November,2024.

The move was part for the Minister’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of the staff.

Adayilo further stated that this gesture is to the entire staff of the Administration to support the Minister on his mandate to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The HoS equally thanked the Minister for always granting expeditious approval for payment of staff allowances and claims.
